First Step
Base Coat – We apply the base coat on top of the insulation and reinforce it with a fibreglass mesh for added durability.
Second Step
Priming- A primer is painted over the base coat. The primer colour must match or be similar to the finish coat.
Third Step
Finish Coat – Finally, the finish coat is applied, resulting in a strong, crack-resistant exterior finish.

It was over 2 years ago when I got in touch with Darius to enquire about rendering the back of my house. It was August and he was booked up for the year but he promised to contact me after Xmas. Sure enough, Darius contacted me, and at my convenience on a freezing January morning, he travelled over 12 miles out of his way to arrive at my house at 6.45 am. He was very knowledgeable about his trade and I had no hesitation in booking him to render the house in the early spring. As the weather broke he was promptly at my house commencing work. The work was completed to a very high standard and I am delighted with the clean, modern look that Darius has given the house.
I have recently had Darius back to render my garden steps. I mentioned the words genuine and honest, one of the reasons being is that Darius insisted he would only take the cost of the diesel that it took to get to my house as he thought the job was too small to charge ! I also asked him what special paint I needed for the silicone render. He called the following day to pick his tools up and after I arrived home from work I found he had left a tin of paint on the garden steps (free of charge) ! Darius is like NO other tradesman that i have ever dealt with. I would recommend him 1,000 %

“Exterior Insulation and Finish System” – E.I.F.S.
This exterior wall cladding system is typically used for commercial projects. Rigid insulation boards are installed on the exterior wall sheathing, then covered with an adhesive base coat, reinforced fibreglass mesh, and a synthetic mortar finish.

Exterior Wall Insulation (EWI)

Insulation attachments
Here are some common attachment methods used during the rendering process:
